INTRODUCTION
The Master of Nursing is an innovative course designed for registered nurses seeking to develop advanced knowledge and skills required to support a leadership role that builds upon generalist and specialist education in a clinical speciality stream of their choice.
The Master of Nursing will offer three clinical streams for students to select from. These are Mental Health, Critical Care and Clinical Leadership. The course recognises the evolving role of the nurse in specialist practice across a diverse range of settings and the need for emerging leaders in nursing to gain further education so they can contribute to and lead health care practice in their field of choice. In addition this course will provide graduates with the opportunity to engage in research activities that will contribute to evidence-based nursing practice in their speciality field.
